North Macedonia registered a historic first Euro finals goal during their first appearance at the tournament. Captain Goran Pandev scored in the 27th minute to level the match with Austria, 1-1. Unfortunately, the goal was not enough to avoid defeat, despite the excellent performance of the North Macedonian team.
